Tabletop games have moved beyond being a niche hobby. Sophisticated board games for adults of all ages are available at Target and Walmart, and the episodes of Wil Wheaton’s YouTube series Tabletop can get nearly a millions views. Saturday the 11th is Tabletop Day, and there are several places to mark the occasion in town:
- Pandemonium Books and Games in Central Square will be running demos from 10-6.
- You can follow up from 6-10 at Northeastern
- or you could go to Knight Moves, the board game cafe in Coolidge Corner, with a large library that the staff can help you explore.
