The Independent Film Festival of Boston, one of the most important local cultural events of the year, opens in just a week! It’s a chance to hang out in some of the coolest neighborhoods around: Davis Square, Harvard Square and Coolidge Corner. The festival extends to both sides of the Charles, and it’s great to have an occasion chance to cross the river and enjoy a slightly less local arthouse.
